High-Capacity Fire Suppression for Large Enclosures and Demanding Applications with Smart Power Control

The BlazeCut T Series R with FK-5-1-12 and Integrated Pressure Switch is a fully self-contained, high-capacity fire suppression system designed for large enclosed or semi-enclosed spaces where fire risk is substantial and operational reliability is critical.

Built for mission-critical protection, this system operates automatically and requires no external power source. The addition of a pressure switch provides an intelligent control capability that enables immediate power management or alert activation in the event of a fire.

The system features a black, abrasion-resistant detection tube filled with a powerful Clean Fire Suppressing Agent (FK-5-1-12). When internal temperatures reach approximately 267°F (±6°F), the tube melts at the hottest point, instantly releasing the clean agent directly onto the fire source.

At the same moment, the pressure switch senses the pressure change and sends an electrical signal that can cut power to connected systems or trigger an alert such as a siren, strobe light, or monitoring alarm. The result is fast, precise suppression with real-time system response and zero cleanup or downtime.

Ideal For:

Large Marine Engine Compartments – Yachts, offshore workboats, commercial vessels
Heavy-Duty Vehicle Bays – Buses, armored trucks, expedition rigs, overland builds
Large Industrial Panels – Power distribution units, server enclosures, MCCs
Backup Power Systems – Battery banks, solar storage containers, UPS enclosures
Specialized Equipment Enclosures – Telecom bunkers, HVAC control units, refrigeration trailers
Mobile Infrastructure – Field-deployed systems, military equipment, emergency generators

Key Benefits:

  • Automatic Activation – System reacts instantly to heat without external triggers

  • Smart Power Integration – Built-in pressure switch can shut down power to prevent system damage or activate alerts for faster detection and emergency response

  • Clean Fire Suppressing Agent (FK-5-1-12) – Safe for electronics, people, and the environment

  • Environmentally Responsible – Zero ozone depletion and low global warming potential

  • Compact and Self-Contained – Installs directly inside the space it protects

What Makes FK-5-1-12 Different?

FK-5-1-12 is a non-toxic, non-conductive, residue-free clean agent that is safe for people, equipment, and enclosed environments. It is also one of the most environmentally responsible fire suppressants available, with zero ozone depletion potential and very low global warming impact.

With the addition of the pressure switch, the BlazeCut T Series R combines instant fire suppression with active control capabilities, creating a complete fire protection system for large, high-risk environments where safety, uptime, and control are paramount.

Frequently asked questions

How does BlazeCut work?

BlazeCut uses a heat-sensitive tube containing extinguishing agent. When exposed to high temperatures, the tube melts and releases the agent to suppress the fire automatically.

Where can BlazeCut be installed?

Common installation sites include engine compartments, electrical cabinets, data centers, and enclosed spaces at risk of fire; it’s important to check specific product volume recommendations for each enclosure.

What types of fires does BlazeCut suppress?

BlazeCut is effective on electrical, liquid, and solid fuel fires, particularly in small closed spaces.

What is the lifespan/shelf life of a BlazeCut system?

The tube and system can last between 5 and 10 years, depending on environment and application.

Does BlazeCut leave behind residue or damage equipment?

BlazeCut uses clean agents which do not conduct electricity, corrode, or damage electronics, and are safe for people in typical application volumes.
