Inside the abrasion-resistant black detection tube is a powerful Clean Fire Suppressing Agent (FK-5-1-12). When temperatures inside the protected space reach approximately 267°F (±6°F), the tube melts at the hottest point, triggering immediate discharge of the agent directly onto the source of the fire. The result: fast, targeted suppression with no residue, no cleanup, and no collateral damage.
